Good food and restaurants may also be enjoyed in our area with the most typical Majorcan dishes such as arròs brut (´dirty´ rice with meat and vegetables), roasted suckling pig, Majorcan soups or hunting mixed grill to mention just a few; as well as this, there are international dishes, tapas and a wide selection of main courses, alongside haute cuisine restaurants and a special setting recognised by the Michelin guide.
Typical confectionary such as ensaimadas, coquerrois, empanadas, robiols, coca de verdura (vegetable pizza-style crust), coques dolces or crespells (sweet cakes) can be found at most bakeries.
Sobrasada, butifarrón and camaiot are extremely tasty local sausages, with the sweet or dry hierbas liqueur also popular.
